Dry air marching eastward will continue to clear our skies through this evening.  Temperatures Friday afternoon only managed to rise into the upper 30s, so we only have to drop 10 degrees and we’ll be in the mid 20s by Saturday morning.  That’s where we expect temperatures to fall, under clear skies tonight.

Despite the cold start, temperatures will moderate quickly Saturday morning, rising into the 50s by Noon.  Winds will increase from the southwest, helping temperatures rise further.  A mix of sun and some mid and high clouds are expected throughout tomorrow.

A cold front, really a poor excuse for a cold front, is forecast to come through our area Saturday night.  This front doesn’t have a lot of moisture with it, and all the good rain-making ingredients will slide by to our north.  Nonetheless, we do have a shower or sprinkle in the forecast for Saturday night.  With clouds and a bit of a wind, we won’t be anywhere near as cold Saturday night, with most areas stopping somewhere in the low to mid 40s.

We’ve taken the raindrop out for Sunday.  A bubble of fair weather high pressure will set up right over us Sunday, giving us lighter winds, sunshine, and afternoon highs around 60.  Even warmer weather is forecast Monday, as temperatures are forecast to rise into the mid 60s!
